Gary Epperley is a Senior Attorney with Galanda Broadman, PLLC. Gary litigates, negotiates and advocates for tribal governments and businesses on economic development and other matters.
A former corporate attorney for Microsoft, Boeing and American Airlines, Gary is well-versed in anticipating and balancing his clients’ business and legal needs to provide sophisticated advice and deliver favorable results. He has extensive litigation and regulatory experience in environmental, health and safety law, including product safety and liability. In addition to his business practice, Gary advocates for tribal citizens confronting disenrollment threats and civil rights abuses. He also represents individuals in catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases.
Gary clerked for the Honorable William C. Canby, Jr., Senior Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, who is one of the preeminent Indian law jurists and professors in the country. As an undergraduate, Gary was named a Harry S. Truman Scholar from his home state of Oklahoma due to his demonstrated leadership potential and interest in government or public sector service.
He is an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and also of Seminole tribal heritage.
